Create circle punched mermaid scales to add dimension and sparkle to the Lagoon Lite Stencil artwork featured on the front of a card.
Mermaid Scales Stencil Technique
Punch 3/4" round Dk. Teal, Lt. Teal and sparkly paper (from stash) mermaid scales with a circle punch.
Trim two 4x5.25" Lagoon White plain panels and add a tiny bit of ATG adhesive to the back of one of the panels. Attach one of the panels to a non-stick craft sheet. Lay the Lite Fish Scale Stencil over the panel and secure with a small amount of adhesive.
Spritz the panel with a variety of shimmery mists.
Remove the stencil and set the panel aside to dry completely.
Set the wet stencil on the craft mat and cover with the second White panel.
Lay a piece of paper towel over the panel and stencil and burnish to absorb any excess mists.
Set the panel aside to dry.
Cut slits for the mermaid scales into the white panels with a craft knife and cutting mat.
Insert the punched circles into the slits and adhere with Bookbinding Glue in a Needle-tipped Applicator.
Stamp a sentiment onto the front of each panel with Permanent Jet Black ink. Adhere the panels to the front of two folded Dk. Teal cards.
Happy Crafting!
