The Constellations Lite kit is leaving the warehouse today. Deb and Beth always set up a tidy shipping line where "with kit" orders are paired with kits, packages are weighed, labels printed, etc. It's a process they have down to a science.

Speaking of science, I've had the opportunity to work with the materials to make the eight layouts, instructions, and film a video workshop! Let's take a closer look at the pages:

LAYOUTS 1 & 2

The little art elements from the cutaparts are perfectly layered onto Burgundy and Silver Matte Metallic papers. The variegated ribbon is so soft and gorgeous with this collection! I used the full two yards.

The mini silver star-shaped brads were added to this cutapart strip. I used my grid ruler to help space them out evenly.

LAYOUTS 3 & 4

The angle of the artwork on the 12x12 White Print is so cool. I used a craft knife, ruler and cutting mat to separate the print at the angle. The artwork angle dictated the positioning of the nested photo mats.

A full roll of sparkle tape is included in the kit. When the backing of the tape is removed, it becomes very flexible and is almost like a washi tape. The sparkle does not "fall off" the tape, so nobody will point out stray pieces of glitter on your face after using it.

LAYOUTS 5 & 6

The Black cutapart printed with silver metallic ink has a strip with circles that can be punched out or used "as is." I pierced through each one and added a star-shaped brad.

LAYOUTS 7 & 8

Accent the stars on the White printed border strips with Dazzles Silver Stickers featured in this month's Deluxe kit.

There is plenty of silver glitter tape to go around. I cut a little chevron into the tape and slipped it behind the cutapart for a page accent.

That wraps up a few details about the collection, but the workshop video will provide additional helpful tips. If you're quick with a trimmer and have a little experience, you might be able to follow along without pressing pause! (But I did speed things up a bit during the cutapart trimming.)

Have fun with this one!
