After completing my monthly page kit layouts, I like to challenge myself to make two additional pages using the monthly page formula. Just think of the October bonus formula as a map to achieve layout success - every time!
It's as easy as 1-2-3!
- Download the October Bonus Formula (free with monthly membership).
- Gather five sheets of paper from your stash and trim them according to the instructions. (I used the Expeditions collection.)
- Arrange the trimmed elements as shown in the diagram.
To complete my layout, I shifted elements slightly so only a section of the map print text shows. Now the real fun begins! I always choose photos to coordinate with the color scheme - rather than the theme - of the collection.
As luck would have it, the Expeditions stamped images and sentiments are an excellent match for my youngest son's graduation photos.
And the globe image fit the one-inch punched circles perfectly!
