Make Lodge Christmas cards by combining the Card Kit Holiday Cutaparts and Deluxe Card Formula #4 with papers from your stash.
Since I no longer have much of a stash of loose papers (aren't you jealous?), I shopped Bulk Papers to coordinate with the Lodge cutaparts. I ended up with a fun mix of colors that normally wouldn't be considered "traditional holiday".
LODGE CHRISTMAS CARDS
Download Deluxe Card Formula #4. Assign papers according to the Gather List:
- (2) Paper A = London Calling Green
- (2) Paper B = Crewel & Unusual Green
- (2) Paper C = Cobblestone Brick
- (2) Paper D = Gone Wild Amber
- (3) Paper E = (2) Lodge Cutaparts, (1) Ivory Plain
- (1) Paper F = Brown Plain (Gone Wild)
Trim and sort papers into an accordion pocket file (or make two piles) according to the instructions. Note: If you don't have the pre-printed cutaparts, trim (3) Ivory Plain according to the diagrams for Paper E. Use stamps to add artwork and sentiments to the panels.
A2 Cards
Remove the contents from the first pocket/pile. Use the image diagrams on the instructions to sort the card bases and panels, creating six A2 (4.25 x 5.5") cards. Add cutapart greetings and other embellishments if desired.
A6 Cards
Remove contents from the second pocket/stack. Use the image diagrams on the instructions to sort card bases and panels, creating six A6 (4.5 x 6.25") cards. Add cutapart greetings and other embellishments if desired.
Punch leaf sprigs in green plain to embellish the oval on each card.
The second part of the greeting goes inside the flap of each trifold card.
Twelve Christmas cards down - dozens to go! I just love how quick and easy it is to use the card formulas to make a nice batch of cards in one sitting. Visit the digital hybrid store to see the full selection of downloadable card formulas available.
Happy card making!
