Scandinavia Cards - Stamping With Kay

Create gorgeous Scandinavia cards featuring clean and whimsical designs. Let's take a tour of the cards I've made with the stamps from the collection.

JUMBO UM

CARD #1 Heat emboss with white powder to create a resist and apply inks to the image with a CS® Ink Applicator. Cut the embossed panel into 1" squares, mat, and layer onto a Gray panel. Attach the artwork to a card base with brads to create a pocket for a stamped tag. CARD #2 Stamp White pigment ink onto the Gray panel for an image that really pops! Adorn with layered ribbons and a miniature tag. CARD #3 Apply multiple ink colors to the round stamp. Tip: Place the lighter ink pad color onto the stamp first to prevent inkpad contamination. Trim the stamped images with a circle cutter or circle die and adhere to the front of the card. CARD#4 Stamp the flower onto Pink, Blue and Green Paper with corresponding Carnation, Ocean and Leaf Inks. Remove the image with a 1.5" circle punch and adhere to a stamped card panel with Foam Circles. CARD#5 Stamp the collage image onto a White panel with India Black ink. Apply color over the image with Carnation, Ocean and Leaf Inks. Continue adding layers of color to the small detailed areas with pencils, markers and a White Gel Pen.

ART NOUVEAU UM

CARD #1 When trimming this image from the unmounted sheet, I chose to leave all of the elements together. If you want to separate the images, cut at a distinct angle so they can be reassembled like a puzzle and used together as a stamped border. CARD #2 Add just a touch of color to the sweet partridge with pencils or markers. CARD #3 Stamp a teardrop image onto a scrap of white paper with Black India ink. Color the details and fussy cut the shape with a craft knife or scissors. Adhere to the matching image on the stamped Pink panel.

GREETING UM

CARD #1 Stamp each white square with one of the four adorable animals in Carnation, Peridot, Tangerine and Ocean inks. Mat each square with a coordinating panel and attach to the front of the card. Finish with a quote I can really identify with. CARD #2 Keep it simple! Stamp the rabbit with Ocean Ink and add accent colors with markers. CARD #3 Repeat the sentiment across the Pink panel and insert the adorable owl to create a simple but sweet card. These Scandinavia cards are sure to make everyone smile.
