Over the winter, Karen and I hosted a 6x6 Recipe Page Swap at the forum. We each created pages of a favorite family recipe and exchanged it with the participants in the swap.

I decided to bind them in a mini album with an accordion fold spine and chipboard covers. This album construction was inspired by Tricia's Accordion Hinge Album and Kay's Altered Panel project.

After making the accordion, I adhered the mountain folds with CS Bookbinding Glue.

I then adhered the recipe pages to the valley of each fold.

I used papers and fibers from the Trees kit and stamps from 50s Kitchen to embellish the front cover.

Let's take a look at the finished book.

I can't wait to try all of these "tested and approved" family recipes. If you participated in the swap and have your recipes stored in a creative way, be sure to share! Bon Appetit!
