The Prism cards are starting off the second half of this interesting year with a colorful bang!
This month's card structures include a split flap fold, stand-up card, and hinge card . . . all deceptively easy to assemble! Plus, you have a plentiful array of embellishments at your fingertips.
I can see more and more people are participating in viewing the assembly video available for the card kit. Thank you so much for tuning in! I hope you're learning new things every month. Here's a peek at the cards we'll create together. If you're having trouble locating the video, you'll find a link embedded into page one of your assembly instructions.
Prism Cards - Set A
Perhaps it initially feels like an odd combination . . . a sympathy card in these bold, beautiful colors. But the sentiment was perfect and I took the risk to go for it.
The split flap card starts with a 5.5x7" sheet of paper scored horizontally at 4.25". Create a second "flap" for the right side of the card with a 3x4" piece scored at 1". Tuck the 1" tab neatly behind the mat on the inside of the card, and house the inner and outer sentiments on each side. They fit to a tee!
Prism Cards - Set B
This stand-up card provides a clever spot for a hand-written greeting on the bottom portion of the tag inserted into the handmade pocket!
Embellish the cards with washi tape, strips of paper, and small matching sequins topped with a self-adhesive rhinestone.
Prism Cards - Set C
After following step one of the instructions, you'll have all of the pieces needed to create four hinge-style cards. Be sure to recycle the formula with papers from your stash! Interchanging four papers trimmed the same way creates lots of fun color combinations. (I can't wait to try it myself!)
It's not too late the snag this fun card kit. Members, you can add it to any future shipment, and non-members are always welcome to shop, as well!
Lastly, during these strange and turbulent times, I want to thank all of you for adding so much color to my life! I appreciate you and the unique gifts and talents you bring to our wonderful little family.
Let's keep inspiring each other . . .
