Create a Love Birds Notecard Carrier project with papers and embellishments from this lovely collection. I still had plenty of papers and goodies to play with after completing my Deluxe Selection Box project. Visit this blog post for details.

To complete the project, gather one 12×12 Black Folding Board, two pairs of Hook and Loop Dots, and seven 12×12 papers from any page or card kit. I used the following papers to make my Love Birds Notecard Carrier:

  • (2) 12×12 Plains (same color) = White (papers from my stash)
  • 12×12 Print (A) = White Floral Print
  • 12×12 Print (B) = White Bird Print*
  • (3) 12×12 Plains (different colors) = 1 each of Cranberry, Blue, Lt. Pink

After trimming the papers, follow the instructions to complete the carrier. The assembled card bases and panels become a blank slate for adding creative touches. I decided to leave mine clean and simple, but can easily add cutaparts from the page kit.

*Note - I got creative with the 12x12 White Bird Print scraps left over from the Deluxe Selection Box project by making accent panels for my cards.

The resulting cards are sweet and simple, perfect for sending a special note to a friend or family member.

Decorate the belly band with a White Floral print strip. Adhere a cutapart panel to the Cranberry mat. Embellish with a cute little fuzzy heart paired with three flower sequins adhered with a tiny dot of glitter glue.
