A paper-pieced lighthouse adds a personalized touch to this Nautical Banner project.
When I first saw this amazing project designed by Terri Zwicker, I knew it would make the perfect gift for my Auntie Judy. She inherited my grandparent's cottage at Gurnet Point in Plymouth, Massachusetts. It's a place that is near and dear to my heart, in more ways than one. Paper pieced Lighthouse
The nautical alphabet spells out the words GURNET POINT and the paper pieced lighthouse is the perfect accent for the separation between the words. I had some left over papers from the original project and was able to make the lighthouse with these scraps.
The project involves trimming several 12x12" papers in various colors following Tricia's detailed instructions. There were many large scraps leftover to create this or any other unique paper-pieced accent.
Be sure to pick up one of these fun projects and don't be afraid to make it your own. Happy Crafting!
