Earlier this month, I shared six cards I made using the Ivy League card kit and stamp sheet. Today I'm pleased to share six more extra special greetings with you!
IVY LEAGUE STAMPED CARDS
As I mentioned in my previous post, as soon as my shipment arrived, stamped the card panels and mats from the page kit to create backgrounds. I also created custom embellishments with the wax seal image: Stamp, heat-emboss, and punch or fussy cut. CARD #7 Stamp numeric image on white panel, trim into two pieces. Add blue flag, wax seals and button (tied with waxed linen thread) to narrow strip.
Adhere library cutapart, bronze filigree charm, and a trimmed sentiment.
CARD #8
Create an embossed border on the card base using a die and embossing pad. Add texture to green panel with an embossing folder, cut using a flag-shaped die. Stamp wreath and color, stamp sentiment. Add waxed linen thread to button.
CARD #9
Dry emboss background panel. Stamp library image, ink edges. Stamp sentiment onto tan plain, punch tag shape and tuck behind library image. Trim ribbon edges. Using bookbinding glue, adhere bronze filigree charm.
CARD #10
Stamp library image twice onto panel with Distress Oxide ink/water combination. Trim small paper and ribbon flags. Stamp sentiment and cut with flag-shaped die.
Adhere using foam adhesive. Add gold Nuvo drops for dimension.
CARD #11
Stamp wreath and sentiment. Die cut square. Trim edges of ribbon and paper strip. Die cut circle. Tie waxed linen thread onto button.
CARD #12
Stamp numeric image repeatedly with Distress Oxide ink/water combination. Tie ribbon around panel. Add punched edging and Nuvo drops. Stamp sentiment directly onto tan panel.
I hope these ideas inspire you to create some extra special greetings of your own. Be sure to share your creations via the Club Scrap Chat Facebook group. We'd love to see your handiwork!
