The Tapestry Cards won't be in your stash for very long! They're designed to be "that perfect card" for so many occasions!
Don't worry about being able to figure out how to create the nifty card styles we're featuring this month. I'll hold your hand the entire time during the video!
Tapestry Cards
SET A - Gatefold Flag Cards
There are two art styles in this set, and one basic method of construction. Adhere the top and bottom "flags" nested with the cutaparts to the left flap, and the center flag to the right. Finish with a bronze medallion filled with a 1" circle of artwork punched from the cutaparts.
The banner-shaped kraft tags add interest to the center panel of the card and are adorable when topped with the cutapart sentiment.
SET B - Never Ending Cards
This card provides tons of interactive fun but still has an elegant style. As the card is opened, the eight art panels tell a never-ending story! Two matching cards in the set are vertical.
Assemble the other two cards in exactly the same way, except in a horizontal orientation.
SET C - Cards you can simply fold in half
If you happen to have some texture embossing folders in your stash, run the Dk. Green panel through your Big Shot or Sizzix before adhering to the Rust card base. Finish with a sweet banner tag, and you're all set.
The horizontal cards are finished with a bronze frame and two ribbons nested together.
Wrap the chiffon and grosgrain ribbons around the bottom edge of the panel. After the ends are taped to the back, simply tie a second piece of grosgrain ribbon to create a bow.
Happy Tapestry cardmaking!
