Honor the Brave. We are releasing a very special collection today to honor those who have served and are serving in the military. Keep in mind, this is a special release and will not ship to you automatically.
If you've been around for a while, you may recognize some of the art elements from two past CS® collections: Tour of Duty and Salute. Jacqueline has done a beautiful job melding the two themes to make one gorgeous page kit.
My office is just down the hall from Karen's desk, and I often hear her field calls from people searching for a military-themed kit. We're proud to once again say, "Yes, we have that!" Shall we take a closer look at the Honor the Brave pages?
LAYOUTS 1 & 2
We carefully chose three beautiful ribbons for this page kit. The olive green grosgrain, super-soft navy, and textured cotton make lovely additions to the layouts.
Tie a simple bow onto the page title on layout one.
LAYOUTS 3 & 4
Adhere three wood tags to the top of layout four. Tie ribbon onto the top, and use a craft knife to add three tiny Dazzles to the bottom of each tag.
LAYOUTS 5 & 6
Cut along the outside edge of the combat boot with a craft knife to allow the art to sit slightly on top of the nested photo mat.
Tie ribbon around the cutapart and photo mat. Add star-shaped Dazzles to the left and right side of the sentiment.
LAYOUTS 7 & 8
Fold a small piece of grosgrain ribbon in half and staple to the upper left corner of the cutapart.
Remove the top loop of the bronze eagle charm with pliers and glue the eagle to the square on the printed cutapart.
Honor the Brave Stamps
Finally, if you're a stamper, you'll be happy to know we've re-released the original "Military" stamp sheet. It's a wonderful plate full of useful images to help make greeting cards and more themed projects.
If you or someone you love has served our nation in the military, we honor and thank you for your sacrifice!
