The Alpine Card Kit greetings won't be in your stash for long. The cards are a perfect mix of birthday, congrats, thank you, and sympathy cards, suitable for "his or her" occasions!
Curious about the cards you'll make? Take a look at some of the assembly details below. Remember, you'll also enjoy the benefit of a helpful video tutorial to ensure your card making success!
Alpine Card Kit - Set A
Perhaps it's not fair to pick favorites, but this is one of mine. Initially, I couldn't figure out why Jacqueline designed so many art panels for the card sections, but it's oh-so-clever!
The first narrow flap has one panel, and the 2nd and 3rd sections each have two pieces of art. This way, the image is always complete as the card is being opened. Create the folds with just three score lines. I love how everything falls into place in a snap!
Alpine Card Kit - Set B
There is something to be said about a smooth, pure white card panel. And you can leave it that way. Or, if you have a lovely texture plate and embossing machine, add texture to the card before tying it up in a pretty chiffon bow.
The second card style in this set features a trio of delicate skeleton leaves safely tucked behind the matted sentiment.
Alpine Card Kit - Set C
The finished size of the serene sympathy card is 3.75x7.25", leaving plenty of room to write a personal note to the recipient. Anchor the sentiment with a narrow cutapart and a length of super-soft pine cotton ribbon. (You'll fall in love with this ribbon when you get your kit!)
The sweet leaf charm takes center stage on the vertical cards. Thread the charm onto chiffon ribbon and secure the ends on the back of the cutapart. Because the etched leaves are on both sides of the charm, they'd make an excellent pair of earrings, as well!
Finally, now that my cards are completed, photographed, filmed, edited, and blogged, I'm going to go make myself a pair of earrings.
Have an adventurous and splendid day!
