The Memento Holder project is so versatile! It can be constructed using any CS® Page Kit to suit your tastes. It features numerous pages for photos, as well as a number of nooks and crannies for storing memorabilia. Customize this handmade book to fit any season and any reason. Have a sizable stash of paper and supplies? Memento Holder Instructions are now available in our online store.

My son was recently engaged and we are currently in the midst of planning for a December wedding. I thought my future daughter-in-law would appreciate having a way to document the process, and a Memento Holder seemed like the perfect solution!

Ever After Remix Version

Tricia's instructions and video tutorial make constructing the project easy, and the stunning artwork from the Ever After collection produces the most beautiful results. Since the wedding colors are ivory and dark green, the color palette couldn't be more perfect.

To create a similar book, gather an Ever After Remix Page Kit and a Memento Holder Components kit (in white).

A photo of the happy couple's engagement graces the first page of the book.

The folded 9x12" envelopes create clever hidden storage for brochures, pamphlets, receipts, and more. (You know, all the stuff you want to keep, but not necessarily look at, LOL.) Wedding planning produces a lot of paperwork! A pine mini envelope (Pacific Northwest - 09.20)  is a great place to store smaller trinkets.

The angled pockets feature inserts for photo display. However, adding mats to the front of the pockets creates even more real estate for treasured memories. (Note the placement of adhesive on the back of the mat - you'll want the insert to still be removable from the angled pocket.)

The end. Isn't it beautiful? My head is spinning with additional album ideas!

Fun and Games Version

Tricia recently made an album by pairing the Fun and Games Page Kit with the Memento Holder Components kit in black.

Embellishments form a fun collage on the front cover.

Printed paper and cutapart artwork really ups the "coolness factor" of the inside pages!

As a reminder, there are three great options for creating a Memento Holder of your own:

  1. Purchase the Class Along Kit. This bundle includes everything: What's Up, Buttercup? papers and embellishments, components kit, printed instructions and video tutorial link.
  2. Purchase the Components Kit. Available in black or white, pair with any CS® Page kit or supplies from your stash. (Purchase includes instructions and video tutorial link.)
  3. Purchase the Memento Holder Album Instructions. Download the instructions to create the book using supplies you have on hand.
