Dahlia Remix Memento Holder
Gather supplies for the project including manila envelopes, 12x12 folding board and a page kit of your choosing. Be sure to visit this blog post for details and to download the assembly instructions (available free for a limited time).
Trim the papers and mat board according to Tricia's detailed instructions and assemble the book.
Decorate the front with cutaparts, ribbon, and embellishments included in the page kit. Do you have a cutapart that you really want to use, but the orientation doesn't fit the cover? Simply die cut the sentiment from the piece and rotate to the desired position.
Cover up any unwanted artwork with a resin flower, knotted ribbon and scalloped circle cut from the paper scraps.
Trim the cutapart sheets and make adjustments as needed to fit the inside pages of the book. Don't be afraid to remove sections of text and reassemble on the page.
Cover up the hole left by the text removal with a large photo mat.
Some of our cutapart sheets require a bit of fussy cutting. Do you have trouble making a perfect circle? Hide those slight imperfections with a paper distressing tool. This gorgeous tool also doubles as a piece of jewelry.
