Create eighteen Hooray cards when you repurpose instructions from the 6 in 60 Card Workshops released at the Mega Meet in Novi, Michigan last week. Back in February, Tricia asked me to take these new workshop instructions for a test drive. I gathered page kit papers and stamps from the April 2022 Hooray collection and got to work.

Eighteen Hooray Cards

Eighteen Hooray Cards

Each 6 in 60 Card Kit yields six cards, so by pairing all three with the Hooray Page Kit, I was able to make an incredible 18 cards. Repurposing the cutting formulas is easy. Simply select five coordinating papers to substitute for those listed in the instructions. (A sheet of 12x12" plain white paper replaces the Cutaparts.)

Once the paper trimming is complete, decorate the panels with Hooray stamped images and sentiments. For inspiration, use the artwork on the original Card Cutaparts as a guide. Create super-colorful stamped imagery with a custom ink pad. Fill a Blank Inkpad with Fuchsia, Yellow and Lagoon Reinkers. (Learn more about making a custom ink pad HERE.)

Set B: Split Flap

Set C: Double Z-Fold

Card Set 2 - 6 in 60 Happy Hour Card Kit Instructions

To replicate this set of cards gather the following papers: Yellow (Paper A), Blue and Black (Papers B and C), Hooray Black (Print), White (Cutapart).

Set A: Single Fold

Set B: Double Z-Fold

Set C: Split Flap

Card Set 3 - 6 in 60 Under the Sea Card Kit Instructions

To replicate this set of cards gather the following papers: Green (Paper A), Yellow and Black (Papers B and C), Hooray Black (Print), White (Cutapart).

Set A: Single Fold

Set B: Standing Box

Choose coordinating cutaparts from the page kit to fill the large open areas on the back of the standing box cards.

Set C: Vertical Hinge

Design tip: When layering a black print on to a black card base, rough the edges with a paper distressing tool to reveal the white paper core. This allows the print to stand out against the black background.

I hope you enjoyed this tour of my card samples. Happy stamping!
