Create these stunning Geodes pages and cards with the brand new Deluxe Page Formula #1.
The formula was inspired by a suggestion from member Veronica C. for a kit that featured a combination of both cards and pages. I channeled my inner Tricia and created this set of cutting instructions that combined the two!
Gather the following 12x12 papers to create these Geodes pages and cards.
PAPER A = Teal Print
PAPER B = Teal Plain
PAPER C = Blue Plain
PAPER D = Purple Print
PAPER E = (2) Purple Plains
Trim the papers following the detailed cutting instructions included with the formula download. Distribute the pieces according to the design guide, or do your own thing!
Page Assembly Tips
Outline the edges of each piece with the Metallic Marker included in the Geodes Page Kit. This creates some beautiful contrast.
To create the banners, mark the the plain side of each 1x2" rectangle 3/8" from the bottom with the zero center on the 2x8 Acrylic Ruler.
Cut from each corner to the center mark with scissors or craft knife.
Apply trimmed Silver thin line Dazzles to the pages for a bit of sparkle and shine.
Colorful Druzy Stones included with the Card Kit accent the pages and create the perfect finishing touch to each side of the layout.
Take another look at the finished pages.
Card Assembly Tips
After downloading the Geodes Hybrid kit, print the cutapart (Printable.6) onto super smooth white cover stock.
Select and trim the sentiment art as a focal image. Adhere to one of the finished cards.
For the second card, add the stamped sentiment to the Teal strip with White Pigment Ink.
Next, add a bit of shimmer with Perfect Pearls powder dusted onto the wet pigment ink.
Lastly, take another look at the finished cards.
