Our team at Club Scrap couldn't be more thrilled with the new Golden Hour Collection! As you read this, Beth and Deb are feverishly working in the warehouse to ship your kits and orders. May they land on your doorstep quickly!
A Note from Tricia
If you haven't already heard the exciting news, we are preparing for a big change at Club Scrap. We're moving to a brand new website!
Physically moving a business has clear parameters. Pick things up, move them, and put them down. "Virtually" moving a business has many unknowns. During the month, please keep an eye out for critical announcements, more sneak peeks, and tutorials to help you learn to navigate our new environment and membership portal.
As I mentioned in a past blog, we've already moved your account information to the new site. However, we'll be sending an official invitation to set up your membership and provide payment information. (For your security, we are not able to do this on your behalf.) Look for communications from us in the coming weeks, and we'll be here to help you through the process in any way we can.
Thanks in advance for hanging in there with us if we come across any bumps in the road!
What's Ahead?
I'll never forget the design planning meeting held in September of 2019. Karen presented a convincing case for a concept I'd never heard of: Kintsugi. We selected a beautiful color palette and assigned the theme to the month of December. Honestly, I wasn't sure how it would pan out, but we had plenty of time to finalize the decision.
Kintsugi is the Japanese art of putting broken pottery pieces back together with gold — built on the idea that in embracing flaws and imperfections, you can create an even stronger, more beautiful piece of art.
After fifteen months of planning, this is our final theme for the year 2020, and it couldn't be more perfect. Together, let's celebrate the new-found strength and beauty we've discovered in ourselves and others during these difficult times.
To learn more about this beautiful art form, take a few moments to watch the video below. And I can tell you already, this kit is going to be gorgeous.
Inks and Fonts
Stampers, you'll have a great time working with the Golden Hour images this month. Keep our Tangerine, Yellow, and Amethyst Hybrid inks handy for projects that coordinate with this month's collection.
If you enjoy making hybrid projects or custom titles or sentiments to match, pick up the following fonts: Courier (standard on most computers) and Modernline.
Golden Hour Page Kit
I giggled when I saw a recent Facebook post asking for advice on a kit to use with some beautiful sunrise photos. Club Scrap, at your service! Since our camera is on our phone, and we take it everywhere we go, chances are you snapped quite a few gorgeous sunset photos throughout the year. Time to get prints and create eight gorgeous pages. If you're not already a member, you can still shop this collection. Enjoy!
Golden Hour Card Kit
If you've been craving something quite simple to assemble, this is your month! Make a total of fourteen cards (two more than usual) with our clever cutting and assembly process. This kit will make your inner engineer rejoice with your inner creative genius! Subscribe to the card kit today, and make it yours for just $21.95.
Golden Hour Stamps
Ahhh...the Golden Hour stamps. They just make me feel warm and happy inside. We've covered all the sentiment bases including a bit of light-hearted humor, gratefulness, and condolences. The 6x8" sheet of clear stamps combines five useful images with eight expressions. Combine "you are" or "life is" with the word "beautiful" to create your preferred sentiment.
Golden Hour Hybrid
Last, but certainly not least, check out this beautiful hybrid collection. It includes the gorgeous artwork and sentiments, and gives you all the creative power! Even if you're a novice with photo editing software, you can simply download and print the ready-to-use images on any home printer. Join the monthly hybrid club for only $2.95! (About the same price as a tall coffee at Starbucks, but made with even more love.)
My head is spinning with ideas for this gorgeous collection. We hope you'll play along with us this month, and next month, and the month after that, and the month after that, and the month after that . . .
Peace,
Tricia
