August Page Sketch
So much more than just a "sketch", the August Page Formula creates a well-balanced two-page spread from six 12x12 papers.
Making pages is easy: Gather the number of papers indicated, trim and sort them according to the step-by-step instructions, and assemble the finished layout as directed by the sketch.
Freeway Bonus Layout
This bonus layout has space for ten or more photos
To replicate my two-page spread, gather the following Freeway papers:
- Paper A = 12x12 Card Kit Print
- Paper B = 12x12 Blue Plain
- Paper C = 12x12 Gray Plain
- Paper D = 12x12 Black Plain
- Paper E = (2) 12x12 White Plain
Stamp "Utopia" inside the highway sign image onto Gold paper (Pack of Panels) with India ink. Trim to 2x3.25" and nest onto one Gray mat. Crop a photo to fit the width of the second Gray mat, embellish with a woodcut (from my stash).
On the right page, stamp the "chase joy" sentiment onto a Gold scrap (Pack of Panels) with India ink. Crop it to 2x2.25" and adhere to one Gray mat.
Use a grid ruler and pencil to lightly draw journaling guidelines onto a 2x2.25" White, adhere to the second Gray mat. Adhere a small woodcut arrow above the journaling (from my stash).
The August bonus formula requires just six sheets of paper and comes together in minutes! The trimming and assembly instructions can be used again and again to make additional pages with paper and supplies you already have on hand.
