Whew, I made it! It may be last-minute, but I'm thrilled to finally share my finished Peony layouts with you. The page kit was so pretty, I couldn't decide which photos to scrap. However, I'm happy to report the beauty of these layouts will be generously sprinkled throughout the scrapbooks of two families!
Layout 7 & 8
I had to resist the urge to scrap all eight pages with photos from my garden, so I limited myself to just two. I hope you'll agree photos of tree peony blossoms and crabapple trees in bloom are a natural fit for these gorgeous papers.
Layout 3 & 4
Okay, okay...these ARE garden photos, but not from mine. Before a hike on the Kohler dunes a few weeks ago, Mike and I visited the gardens and Shops at Woodlake, Kohler. It was still pretty early in the season, but we were able to capture a few pics of these sweet spring bulbs.
Layout 1 & 2
As you may have noticed, I frequently scrap photos of my friend's adorable grandchildren. You may wonder why in the world I chose pics from the Christmas tree farm - but once you look closely at the colors IN the photos, it makes complete sense. (Their momma will fill in the journaling later.)
Layout 5 & 6
You may recall the Peony Bonus Formula layout I shared earlier this month featured photos of Oliver and his sisters at the domes in Milwaukee. This two-page spread showcases more photos from the same day.
And there you have it - four sets of pages from four separate occasions. I hope the way I scrapped my pages inspires you to "think outside the pizza box" when choosing photos for your own layouts.
Happy scrapping!
