The November Paradise collection is colorful, fun, and just so . . . HAPPY! A kit this happy calls for a birthday card that has an extra fun surprise inside, don't you think?
I've been wanting to try an "explosion" card for a while now. Paradise images and colors created the perfect excuse for me to give it a shot.
I stamped the parrot image (Art Nouveau UM) onto White Print in Jet Black ink, then made the outline of the image darker and thicker using a Sharpie marker. I added the fussy cut image to the front of the card with foam adhesive circles for dimension. The leaves are die cut from Green Plain. The sentiment is from the Jumbo UM.
As you open the card, the Turkish Map folded interior reveals . . .
. . . a birthday surprise inside!
