Mediterranean Bonus Formula - Sketch

Mediterranean Bonus Formula Sketch

Making a two-page spread is easy peasy. To utilize the formula, gather five 12x12 papers in coordinating colors; trim according to the instructions. Arrange the cut pieces as shown in the finished page sketch. It's just like putting together a puzzle - only faster!

Mediterranean Bonus Formula Layouts

Tricia's Layout - Before Photos

To replicate Tricia's 2-page spread, use the following Mediterranean paper assignments: Card Kit Print and Light Yellow (Paper A & B), Blue (Paper C) and two Gold (Paper D).

Tricia's Pages - After Photos/Journaling

Add journaling directly onto the layout - no Cutaparts necessary!

Rounding select corners creates visual interest.

Separate a single photo into two parts and crop to fit the mats.

Karen's Layout

For my pages, I chose to incorporate colors from several collections. To recreate my layout, gather the following papers: Mediterranean Card Kit Print and Blue Plain (Paper A & B), Fun and Games Black (Paper C) and two What's Up, Buttercup? Yellow (Paper D).

On the left page, crop a single vertical photo to span the space across two mats. Add a stamped sentiment (Legacy) to the third mat. Trim a photo to fit the open space to the right of the black narrow strip.

On the right, in lieu of smaller photos, crop two 4x6 photos to fit across the mat pairs at the top right and bottom left corners of the page.

Create your own journaling block with a white panel, a grid ruler and pencil.

Even though Tricia and I both incorporated Mediterranean Blue and the Card Kit Print in our layouts - and coincidentally, brewery photos - I think you'll agree the finished layouts look very different.

How will you use the Mediterranean Bonus Formula? Why not share your finished pages on the Club Scrap Chat group? We'd love to see your work!

Happy scrapping!
