Valentine's Day is my third favorite holiday (after Christmas and Halloween). It's fun to give and get valentines from your loved ones. However, the day is extra special to me and the Mike-man because our very first date on Valentine's Day in 1987. (Wow--now I feel old!) To celebrate the fact that this amazing man has stuck with me for the last 28 years, I wanted to create a little something for him using our new Love Ink collection.
I picked up this faux printer's drawer years ago, not knowing exactly what I'd use it for, but knowing I really liked it. (I'm sure you've been there.)
All I had to do was decorate each little section. Photo mattes and printed papers were trimmed to matte the photos. The Love Ink Cutaparts made embellishing super easy! I used images and sentiments from the Light Pink and Ivory Greetings Cutaparts and the Ivory Embellishment Cutaparts that came in the collection.
Finally, I added some die cut hearts and a few metal trinkets from my stash.
Do you think the Mike-man will like it? (Real men like pink, right?)
A special thanks to my pal, Kay Williamson, for taking (all but one of) the awesome photos!
