We are thrilled to be a part of the Coffee Loving Paper Crafters Blog Hop!
With a private chat group on Facebook and an active blog, the group satisfies my fondness for all things java-related. Following the group for the last few weeks inspired me to create a coffee-themed matchbox mini album.
COFFEE MATCHBOX MINI ALBUM
Begin by wrapping the exterior of a small match box with a Brewed Awakenings digital print on super smooth ivory cover stock. Next, add burlap ribbon and a coffee cup image from the Coffee Break digital stamps.
Open the drawer to reveal a sweet mini album inside!
The mini book structure made from copper folding board features an exposed spine. Determine the size of the mini book by measuring the interior of the matchbox. Making the finished size of the book at least 1/8" smaller ensures a proper fit.
Add inside pages with black waxed linen thread using a simple pamphlet stitch.
To decorate the cover, use a one inch circle punch on the round digi stamp image. Adhere to the center of a flattened bottle cap, top with a clear epoxy sticker.
Cool beans, right?
If you love coffee as much as I do, check out these coffee-themed collections in the Club Scrap digital hybrid store.
Happy crafting!
