Here's a quick visual tour of what you'll find in the collection.
Scroll down to take a closer look at the eight pages you'll make when you follow the printable instructions included with purchase. In addition, I'll guide you through the assembly process. A link to my video workshop is provided in the instructions document.
Layouts 1 & 2
We found these super-sweet anchor settings to fit the circular images on the cutapart sheet. Simply cut with scissors, adhere the image into the setting, and top it with the glass dome we've included. Our CS® Bookbinding Glue works "like a charm" when adding the cutapart and dome. Suspend the anchor from the top edge of the page with the jute to match the other lanterns pictured on the cutapart.
Layouts 3 & 4
Add the woodcut ship's wheel to the printed border strip on the left page of this layout. It perfectly coordinates with the ship's wheel on the cutapart and anchor setting on the right page!
Layouts 5 & 6
Trim the blue strip from the cutapart and layer onto the left side of the page. Nest the kraft "message in a bottle" tag with Lt. Gray paper, top with jute, and place next to the title strip with foam adhesive.
Layouts 7 & 8
Thread the second ship's wheel woodcut with cotton ribbon and secure the ends around the right edge of the layout. If you happen to have a LOT of photos for the page, consider moving the embellishment further to the edge and place a picture on top of the printed cutapart. Remember--photos come first!
