Layout 1 & 2
I swapped out the circular cutapart sentiment with the one from page 3 and 4 (you'll see why later).
In lieu of four smaller photos, I cropped two horizontal photos to span the same space.
Since I had more vertical photos than horizontal, I rearranged the mats to fit my needs. An extra unmatted photo is tucked into the lower right corner.
A bit of craft knife magic makes this kitty photo really stand out.
Layout 3 & 4
I relocated the "bake stuff" circular cutapart to these pages for obvious reasons.
The vertical orientation of the photos necessitated a bit of rearranging on page 4. A spare ivory panel creates a mat for the cookie photo, while the extra photo above the sentiment cutapart doesn't require one.
Layout 5 & 6
I only made a few minor tweaks to this two page spread.
Vertical photos are cropped to fit the space created by the stacked mats.
Straightening the two square mats allowed me to crop a single horizontal photo to fit the space.
Layout 7 & 8
This two page spread was perfect, "as is".
Not wanting to crop these precious memories down any further, I simply trimmed the vertical photos to fit across the space created by the smaller stacked mats.
