Released at the 2018 Retreat, the Primrose collection includes a page kit, card kit and stamp sheet. Combine the card kit and stamps to create a dozen Primrose stamped cards!
Primrose was my favorite from Retreat. After seeing the artwork, I purchased some new Chameleon colored pencils. The colors look fantastic on the bright papers, and the white EP really helped the stamped images pop!
PRIMROSE STAMPED CARDS
YELLOW "WIPER" CARDS
Run the pink mat through an embossing folder, apply white ink to the raised areas. Distress edges of blue printed panel. Stamp and fussy cut flowers. Add Nuvo drops to flower centers. Stamp sentiment onto Cutapart. Staple ribbon.
Texture emboss pink mat, trim into three pieces. Distress Cutapart and add stamped sentiment. Un-twist white paper ribbon, trim ends. Loop twine behind Cutapart, attach with foam adhesive.
Stamp pink panel with background stamp and sentiment. Tie paper ribbon around the pink panel.
Stamp background stamp three times onto pink panel. Wrap with white paper ribbon. Create flags from Cutapart scraps. Adhere sentiment with dimensional foam adhesive. Add Nuvo drops.
WHITE CARDS WITH YELLOW PANELS
Round corners of card base and mat. Add texture to mat with an embossing folder, apply ink to raised surfaces. Stamp and heat emboss large flowers with white EP on pink. Color with white pencil and fussy cut. Distress edges of green Cutapart. Stamp sentiment and trim with stitched oval die cut. Ink edges.
(One of my favorites!) Stamp and white heat emboss flowers. Color with colored pencils. Splatter white paint onto background. Add an additional fussy cut flower with foam adhesive.
(Another favorite card.) Stamp and heat emboss script onto yellow panel. Round two corners of card base and panel. Die cut small Cutapart, stamp sentiment. Trim end of white paper ribbon. Tie twine onto charm. Add Nuvo drops.
Randomly stamp speckle image onto yellow panel. Stamp flowers, heat emboss with white EP, and fussy cut. Add gems (from stash) to flower centers. Punch border and tuck beneath border strip.
3.5 x 5" GREEN CARDS WITH PURPLE PANELS
Add texture to purple panel using an embossing folder. Color stamped flowers with Copic markers. Apply Nuvo drops for dimension. Trim Cutapart using a stitched rectangle die. Add twine to charm. Add a dot of yellow Nuvo drops to center of charm.
Stamp script image onto purple panel with watermark ink. Stamp flower image on yellow, heat emboss. Color with pencils. Trim Cutapart with stitched rectangle die. Add clear Nuvo drops to flower centers for dimension.
Begin by cutting the printed panel into three sections. Fussy cut flower from Cutapart. Splatter white acrylic paint onto background. Cut small strips to accent. Stamp greeting. Tie twine around stem of flower.
Stamp and white heat emboss script onto card base. Stamp flowers in black ink, color with Copic markers, and trim. Loop twine behind flowers. Trim sentiment from Cutapart. Attach both with dimensional adhesive.
