I happily discovered that the Paper Lace Mats included in the Paris Flea Market Deluxe Kit create intricate artwork when used with a Gelli Arts printing plate.

Add dots of white and black acrylic paint to the plate.

Roll on paint with a rubber brayer.

Lay the mat face down onto plate. Rub over the surface of the mat to pick up areas of wet paint.

Carefully peel the mat away from the Gelli Plate.

Add dots of pink paint and roll out over the image. *Note - The layer of gray paint remaining on the plate is already dry.

Lay a piece of white paper onto the plate and using firm pressure rub over the entire surface of the Gelli Plate. Carefully peel the paper away from the plate to reveal the artwork!

The Paper Lace Mats were surprisingly durable. After making several prints with the same piece, it remained intact. Save this mat for future projects.
