The August Sunflowers deluxe kit is a true beauty! The assembly of papers, beautiful artwork and perfectly coordinated embellishments will result in gorgeous pages for your scrapbooks. Let's take a look at the layouts you can create by following our detailed assembly instructions.
Sunflowers Deluxe Kit
LAYOUTS 1 & 2
The Sparkle Stickers add a fun touch to the center of the sunflowers printed on the cutaparts.
Add a gold safety pin to the center of the bow tied with multi-colored fiber.
LAYOUTS 3 & 4
Adhere three laser etched sunflower wood buttons to a strip of green satin ribbon.
LAYOUTS 5 & 6
We found a fun jute fiber braided with dark and light brown. Cut four lengths and staple them in pairs onto the top and bottom of the "shine" cutapart.
LAYOUTS 7 & 8
Bring a few printed sunflower petals into the foreground. To create this effect, temporarily position the photo mat in the desired spot on the print and mark where the edge of the mat mets the edge of the flower petals. Remove the mat and cut around the petals with a craft knife and cutting mat. Slide the photo mat beneath the petals.
LAYOUTS 9 & 10
Nest a metallic gold "joy" cutapart onto a White printed cutapart. The size ratio of the cutaparts isn't equal, so tuck the extra portion of the White cutapart behind the Brown photo mat.
LAYOUTS 11 & 12
We found this adorable roll of washi tape to include in your kit. I love how the tape provides yards and yards of embellishing! Run the tape above and below the White Print on the left and right side of the spread.
LAYOUTS 13 & 14
"Big things often have small beginnings." I can think of so many great ideas for this layout. Weddings, newborn babies, a newly planted garden, before and after photos, etc.
Sunflowers Greetings to Go
SET A
Can you believe we found grosgrain ribbon printed with sunflowers? We just had to get it!
If you have a wire cutter handy, use it to remove the loop from the silver sunflower charm. Or, use the charms to make a cute pair of earrings.
SET B
It's amazing how simply rounding the corners of the Lt. Green printed cutaparts completely changes the look of this card. Make a small loop with the gold metallic ribbon, tape it to the back of the sunflower cutapart, and finish with a silver charm.
SET C
The four-flap cards consist of a nested 4.25x11 and 5.5x8.5 card base. Close the card one flap at a time, as if you were closing a cardboard box. Slide the last flap beneath the first flap to secure. Jacqueline designed an art panel for each individual flap as well as adorable "innies" for each card!
