Create cool backgrounds from scraps with the Stamped Strips technique. I found this idea on Instagram and couldn't wait to share it with Lisa. We both couldn't believe we had never thought to do this before!
The finished size of each card below is 4.25x5.5", unless otherwise noted.
Stamped Strips Technique
Gather paper scraps in a variety of widths and lengths. Tear off a 5.5" length of double-sided adhesive tape*. Position the tape on your work surface with the sticky side facing up. Adhere the strips to the tape, alternating colors.
Once the tape is filled with strips, remove any exposed adhesive.
Repeatedly stamp the crab image onto the panel with Watermark Ink
Place the panel into a tray and dust the wet ink with Green Perfect Pearls Powder. The powder will adhere to the wet ink.
Brush off the excess powder with a soft brush.
Pro Tip: Remove any remaining stubborn pearl residue from the strips with a Swiffer duster.
I love how the images really shine! 
Trim the panel to 3x4.25; mat with a 3.25x4.25" Green. Stamp a single crab and a sentiment onto a Aqua tag with Ocean Ink. Adorn with a piece of yellow grosgrain ribbon tied together with jute.

Lisa chose to make her sample with the Coming Up Roses stamps. A single daisy image is stamped with Caramel Ink. The stitched embossing, speckled background, sequin embellishments, and varying the strip lengths gives her a card a unique look.
