It's easy to transform your paper stash into finished cards—if you have the right tools! A Club Scrap card formula is so much more than a sketch, each provides detailed trimming and assembly instructions to create a quick batch of greeting cards. As inspiration, I'm offering a special freebie: the Square Base Pop-up Card Formula.

Square Base Pop-up Card Formula

Transform seven sheets of paper into eight 4.25x5.5" pop-up cards—just add stamped sentiments or cutaparts and envelopes!

Gather coordinating papers as outlined on the instructions download—in this case, seven coordinating 12x12 papers: a mix of prints and plains, cover weight and text weight. 

1. Follow the trimming and sorting instructions and diagrams. 
2. Deal out the trimmed elements to dry fit each card structure. 
3. Add stamped sentiments or cutaparts to the appropriate panels.
4. Assemble each card with the help of a grid ruler and ATG adhesive. 
5. Embellish as desired.

Black Tie Cards

To replicate the cards shown below, gather the following papers from the Black Tie collection:

• Paper A, B, C, D: Cream Speckle, Ivory, Gold, Black
• (2) Paper E: Card Print (Text weight)
• Paper F: Diamond Print

Add stamped sentiments to the blank panels with India ink. Add lengths of ribbon to select anchoring strips.

Inside, stamp the marquee image with India ink, and your chosen sentiment with Spruce.

Staple a snippet of gold metallic ribbon above the outside sentiment with a tiny attacher* stapler.

Consider positioning several of the cards with a horizontal orientation for a fun twist. Embellish the open space on the "spine" with a filigree accent.

Now that you've mastered the basics, recycle the formula with additional papers, stamps and embellishments from your stash.
