Create a beautiful card with the Shoji Stamps and an altered tag. If you're anything like me, you have lots of "art orphans" laying around your craft room. (Art orphans are created while experimenting with techniques and mediums that haven't found a home on a project.)
Why not grab a few, add a collage of stamped images, and attach them to the front of a card or on a scrapbook page?
Shoji Distressed Tag Card
Select an art orphan distressed tag and an assortment of coordinating papers.
Stamp a variety of Shoji images onto the tag with India, White Pigment and Ash Inks. Sprinkle the wet White Pigment Ink with Perfect Pearls Pearl powder. Dust off any excess powder with a brush and buff to a shine with a soft, dry cloth. Distress the edges of the tag with India Ink.
Adhere the tag onto a coordinating color panel and punch a hole in the top of the paper.
Trim around the perimeter of the tag with scissors, leaving a small reveal of color. Alternatively, measure the tag and trim the paper 1/8" larger to create a narrow reveal.
Tie two lengths of ribbon together with a simple knot to form a unique tag topper.
Adhere a diecut medallion, paper flowers, leaves, and Shoji Bronze Asian Coins with hot glue.
Complete the cluster with a stamped sentiment from the Rainy Day Stamps.
