Making a batch of cards is easy when you use Club Scrap's card making formulas! Our newest release, Deluxe Card Formula 15, is designed to transform six 12x12 papers into a set of eight A2 cards: Four collage cards and four nesting panel cards.
I recently made a batch of these cards using papers, stamps and hybrid printables from the Sprouts collection.
To begin, purchase and download Deluxe Card Formula 15.
Next, select six 12x12 papers. (I chose the Sprouts Card Kit Print, along with Dark Green, Light Green, Purple, Yellow and Ivory Plains.)
Trim papers according to the instructions download, separating the cut pieces into piles by size.
Once all trimming is complete, sort the elements for each card style as outlined below.
Collage Cards
(1) Card base
(1) 4x5.25" Panel
(1) 3.75" Square
(4) 1.75" Squares
(1) 2.25" Square
(1) 2x2" Nesting square
Mixing up the distribution of each paper color really adds to the fun!
Once you've sorted and dry-fit the pieces, it's time for final assembly. Add printed or stamped artwork and other embellishments as desired.
Nesting Panel Cards*
(1) Card base
(1) 2.25x5.5" Anchoring strip
(1) 3x4" Panel
(1) 2.75x3.75" Nesting panel
(1) 2x2.25" Panel
(1) 1.75x2" Nesting panel
*Note: Two of the four cards will include an additional 3.25x4.25" nesting panel.
After the pieces are sorted, add artwork, sentiments, and other embellishments to finish the cards.
A trio of Zest for Life enamel dot stickers make a fun accent.
Tricia made a cute set of cards using the same formula with the Rainy Day card kit and stamps. Her examples demonstrate the variety of ways you can put the trimmed pieces together.
