Create an interesting scrapbook page background with this hourglass quilt block technique and the Crewel & Unusual Quad Print.
Trim the Quad Print into four 3x3" squares, and cut each square from corner to opposite corner to create four triangles. Arrange the triangles on a scrapbook page with equal spacing between segments. Use the 3x14" Grid Ruler to help with alignment.
Add faux stitching to the edges of the quilt blocks with a white gel pen.
Embellish the layout with stamped images.
Stamp a series of hearts onto Red Plain with White Pigment ink. Trim the hearts and attach with Foam Adhesive Circles.
This technique will translate well to greeting cards. Simply reduce the size of the square from 3" to 1.5" and quilt away. Time to cut some corners! Pick up your Crewel & Unusual Club Stamp kit and get started today!
