Create a stunning Pure and Simple Card Caddy project using Club Scrap's super-efficient downloadable Deluxe Card Formulas to make sixteen cards!

I have long admired Karen's ability to flawlessly pair these formulas with a Special Release page kit to transform them into an exceptional group of cards. So it was time for me to give it a try.

Pure and Simple Card Caddy Assembly Tips

To recreate my project and cards you will need the following: Pure and Simple Remix Page Kit, Card Caddy components, and Deluxe Card Formulas Eight, Nine, and Fifteen. Select three sheets of 12x12 paper from the Page Kit to build the Card Caddy. (The remaining papers and cutaparts are used to make the cards.)

Trim the papers according to the detailed cutting instructions. Be sure to follow along with the video linked on the instructions document. It always makes me feel more confident when I am making my cuts along with Tricia!

Add a tiny sliver of black foam adhesive to the bottom edge inside each metal label holder to keep the labels from slipping out of position.

Remove the backing, position each label onto the pierced square panels, and secure with brads. Fun tip: There is enough space inside each label holder to store the extra occasion tags, making it easy to change the labels when needed.

Add the panels to each box while it's still flat. Be careful to add the panels in the correct order so the artwork is continuous across the front of the project.

Use the zero center on the Club Scrap cutting mat to glue the feet onto the base for perfect placement.

I was so pleased at how the card caddy turned out.

Now it's time to make the cards!

Pure and Simple Card Assembly Tips

Review the remaining 12x12" papers to decide which formulas will work best with your selections. I had enough paper to make sets of cards using two formulas, 9 and 15. I also created one card using Card Formula 8 and a bonus card created with some of the scraps.

Card Set 1 - Deluxe Formula 9

Decorate the long, narrow Z mechanism with trimmed border strips paired with stamped sentiments. Finish each with an adorable silver leaf charm.

Card Set 2 - Deluxe Formula 15

Add texture to select plain papers using embossing folders.

Add artwork to some plain squares using stamped images from the original 2009 Pure and Simple collection.

The Fun and Games checkerboard image stamped in Neon Green Ink pairs perfectly with the designs in this Remix collection.

Card 3 - Deluxe Formula 8

Having only two sheets of 12x12 papers left, I decided to make one of the unique Explosion cards following Deluxe Formula 8. Follow the instructions to create the card structure. Trim a border strip cutapart into four pieces to nest onto the white mats inside.

One of the downsides of only using two sheets of 12x12 paper for this formula is the nested panel for the front of the card is the same color as the card base. To solve this problem, stamp the panel with the Kintsugi leaves using India ink.

Complete the front of the card with a cutapart sentiment and papers salvaged from the pile of scraps.

Tie a simple bow to embellish the bottom of the front of the card.

Bonus Card - Make the most of your scraps!

There was enough white paper left after creating the Explosion card to assemble one final bonus card. Use the linen textured white paper for the card base. Create a nesting "panel" from two black triangles (left over from the caddy construction). A printed panel, small green mat and cutapart quote paired with another simple bow complete the card.
