Happy Galentine's Day! Last spring, Tricia introduced 90 students to Precision Card Making with Lavender Fields during the Great Lakes Mega Meet in Novi, Michigan. Since then, the class has been available to our members and customers as a full workshop kit. If you haven't tried this formula yet, it's now available for purchase as an online class!
Precision Card Making Formula
Your purchase of the online class includes a three page printable document and a link to Tricia's video tutorial. Simply pair the formula with six sheets of 12x12 paper from your stash, and follow the trimming, sorting and assembly instructions to make six A2 (4.25x5.5") greeting cards. Just add cutaparts or stamped sentiments and envelopes.
Heartfelt Cards
After creating a dozen cards with the Autumn Glow card kit instructions, Tricia had five sheets of paper left over from the Heartfelt Page kit. She challenged me to make additional cards using the remaining supplies.
To get started, purchase and download the Precision Card Making Online Class. Next, gather the items listed in the Materials and Supplies list on the document—I used the five sheets of paper left over from the Heartfelt kit plus one White Plain.
To duplicate my cards, utilize the following paper assignments:
- Paper A = Lt. Blue
- Paper B - Dk. Gray
- Paper C = Blue Print
- (2) Paper D = Aqua, Lt. Gray
- Cutapart = White
Set A—Four 4.25x5.5" Angled Block Cards
Adhere a cutapart scrap to the back side of the Die Cut Tag so the color peeks through the open area. Ink the edges with a combination of Carnation and Ash ink. Tie a length of pink/white baker's twine into a bow and adhere to the top with Bookbinding Glue. Center a small image from the cutaparts onto the front of the tag. Adhere with foam adhesive for dimension.
Stamp the sentiment (Coming Up Roses 04.25) onto each White panel with Ash ink.
Add the sentiment (Stained Glass 12.25) to the appropriate White panels with Ash ink. Top with a Puffy Heart.
Set B—Two 4.25x5.5" Gatefold Cards
Stamp the sentiment (Toile 09.25) onto both White panels with Ash ink. Mat and adhere to the left side of the gatefold.
For the card on the left: Alter a Die Cut Tag as described above. Top with a faux postage sticker or other artwork.
On the right, embellish the stamped panel with a heart-shaped cutapart; adhere with foam adhesive.
I hope you enjoyed these cards created with supplies from the Heartfelt Page Kit. It just goes to show, you can make cards out of any CS kit when you pair them with any of our card making formulas. The toughest decision is choosing one!
