Transform your scraps into super-sweet embellishments with the Paper Patches technique.
I think we can all agree, we sometimes struggle with throwing away the small scraps that we find ourselves with when crafting. Club Scrap papers are especially hard to part with, so Lisa and I try to find clever ways to rescue them from the recycling bin. Grab your scraps and let's get crafting!
The finished size of each card below is 4.25x5.5", unless otherwise noted.
Paper Patches Technique
Adhere paper strip scraps to an Ivory panel with Bookbinding Glue dispensed from a Needle-tipped Applicator.
Continue to adhere scraps to the Ivory panel, alternating prints and plains. The width of the scrap can also vary to create interest.
Die cut* a shape from the panel. Don't have a die cut machine? Simply trace a shape and cut with scissors.
Draw faux stitching lines around the perimeter of your shape with a black journaling pen. Tip: Use the indentation left behind from the die as a guide for perfect placement.
Adhere the patch to any project.
