Create interesting backgrounds for cards, pages or projects with the Triple Layer Stencil technique. Lisa and I couldn't believe we had never thought of doing this with stencils before, but you know what they say, you learn something new every day!
Grab your favorite Club Scrap inks, stencils and paper and let's get crafting!
Triple Layer Stencil Tutorial
Position a plain white panel onto a protected work surface. Place the stencil (Confetti 01.20) over the panel. Apply Caramel Ink with an Ink Applicator Brush with a circular motion.
Clean the stencil between each ink application with a damp cloth or baby wipe. Flip and rotate the stencil; apply Carnation Ink.
Clean and reposition the stencil over the panel. Apply Earth Ink as the final layer to complete the background.
Once you get started, it's hard to stop! Pair different combinations of inks with stencils from your stash.

Mat the background with a Red panel on a Dk. Brown card base. Decorate with ribbon, embellishments, and stamped sentiment (Coming Up Roses 04.25).
Lisa created gorgeous cards featuring the Round and Round collection and a background stenciled with Earth, Sandstone and Lt. Blue Inks.
