Our July Greetings to Go Guest Artist is Artist Team member, Tina Guigui Dornbaum. Each month, the Greetings to Go pack includes everything you need to complete twelve fully-embellished greeting cards: Twelve pre-cut card bases (four each of three different colors/sizes), matching pre-cut card panels, printed Cutapart greetings and art, and coordinating envelopes. Full assembly instructions are provided to take any creative block out of the equation.
As guest artist, Tina took the supplies in the Greetings to Go and really customized them to her own designs. The result is twelve very different cards from Tricia's, demonstrating once again, you can truly "do your own thing" if you're feeling creative. Here is a visual gallery of her cards. Enjoy!
Use a small flower punch on the hidden portion of the printed Cutapart border to create coordinating embellishments.
Cover punched areas with Cutapart greeting.
Doodle a border around the stamped sentiment using a fine-tip black marker.
I just love the look of these Office Space Wood Tags.
A masking stencil and ink sprays customize a plain card base.
Use real staples with the stapler image from the Jumbo UM . . . the result is faux-bulous! (I just made that up.)
A couple of quick snips with scissors creates the look of a banner on a Cutapart sentiment.
Color Burst Metallics create a funky background that really shines.
I think that typewriter from the Art Nouveau UM is my favorite! Use multiple inks from the same color family to fill in the Quick Brown Fox Stencil for added dimension.
A fine-tip black marker border on the green panel mimics the border on the pre-printed Cutapart. Ribbon flags add a pop of color.
Use a craft knife to cut slits in the large printed Cutapart panel and slide in the Cutapart border strip.
I hope you enjoyed seeing the expanded potential of the Office Space Greetings to Go. Visit our online store to see (and shop!) additional Greetings to Go kits from the past.
