August Tool Stash Challenge: Punches
Create faux scales from Dk. Teal, Lt. Teal, and white papers with a Martha Stewart border punch.
Gather the scrap pieces from the negative areas of the punch. Stamp a mermaid tail image in Permanent Jet Black ink onto a digital hybrid scale print left over from a previous project.
Fussy cut the tail image.
Adhere the faux scales to the mermaid tail with Bookbinding Glue in a Needle-tipped applicator.
Stamp the image onto Lt. Teal to create the top and bottom of the tail. Fussy cut the images and adhere to the larger tail segment with the same Needle-tipped applicator.
Embellish the tail with blue glitter glue.
August Idea Deck Challenge - 3 of Hearts
Gather a 12x12" Lt. Teal plain and Dk. Teal print from the Lagoon Deluxe kit. Follow the directions on the back of the 3 of Hearts from the Assembly Line Card Making Vol. 1 Idea Deck to create four cards.
Emboss the Lt. Teal plain panel with Sizzix folder and embellish with Rock Candy Distress Stickles.
Adhere the mermaid tail to the card with Foam Adhesive Circles. and finish the card with a stamped matted sentiment from the Jumbo UM set.
Just keep "crafting"!
