I enjoy having the opportunity to share a few of the details about the finished layouts in each collection.
London Calling Deluxe Kit
LAYOUTS 1 & 2
The matted cutapart, antique bronze crown key charm and tea cups trimmed from the Light Green cutaparts make the perfect mini collage to anchor the page.
The collage is balanced on the right side with an Antique Bronze Filigree Wrap, Kraft cutapart and a splash of Union Jack ribbon.
LAYOUTS 3 & 4
We scored some washi tape featuring a map of the London Underground. What a find! (Don't worry . . . it's in your kit.)
The washi tape adds almost as much as the antique bronze crown charm!
The Light Green cutapart featuring the famous London Eye complements the gorgeous Blue Print on the left side of the spread.
LAYOUTS 5 & 6
You may have a difficult time cutting this paper. (I did.) I've done my best to allow it to shine without overshadowing your photos. If you feel the location-specific elements are too prohibitive, simply add photos over the bridge image and London map label.
LAYOUTS 7 & 8
The Light Green cutaparts feature a few classic icons that are easy to cut with a scissors.
Again, feel free to add photos in the upper half of the left page. I don't have the heart to cover that beautiful print just yet.
LAYOUTS 9 & 10
Another great find was the 1-1/2" striped grosgrain ribbon we've included in the embellishment pack. It's soft and pliable. Grab a sharp fabric scissors to cut points into the ribbon ends.
Adhere the Antique Bronze Filigree Wraps to your projects with a thin coat of our Bookbinding Glue. (We've included six wraps in the kit.)
LAYOUTS 11 & 12
Pick your own thing to "Keep Calm" about. Just fill in the blank. (We also made a stamp of this image featured on the Art Nouveau Unmounted sheet.)
LAYOUTS 13 & 14
Now, aren't they the most adorable little Wellingtons you've seen? Pick up the rubber stamp of this image from the UM Greeting sheet. Oooh, and notice the pretty patterned paper in the background!
London Calling Greetings to Go
SET A
It's easy to pick my favorite card from this batch. I should have just made five of them. Functional doors optional, but so cool!
SET B
I made a torn mask to highlight the quote and cut the car from the cutapart sheet.
SET C
Foam adhesive is my card making friend. I used it quite a bit this month to highlight cutaparts and frames. Be sure to have some on hand for this batch of cards.
Phew! If you're still reading this, thanks for hanging in there with me. We hope you're inspired to get started with this kit the minute it hits your doorstep.
