Tricia taught the Interactive Handmade Album workshop to 120 students at the Great Lakes Mega Meet in Michigan last spring. Even if you didn't get the chance to attend in person, you can now experience the online class for yourself—any time, anywhere.

Paper Assignments
Once you've downloaded the written instructions, utilize the paper assignments below as you sort and trim your papers. (Or you can always do your own thing!)
- Step 2 = Teal
- Step 3 = Aqua, Dk. Green
- Step 4 = Teal
- Step 5 = (2) 12x12 White Plain, Aqua, Dk. Green
- Step 6 = Sm. Peacock Print, Lt. Green
- Step 7 = Sm. Peacock Print, Lt. Green
- Step 8 = (2) Lg. Peacock Print
You'll also need a 30" length of elastic cord and a large button if you want to create the optional book closure. As much as I love the idea of the elastic closure, I opted to skip this step.
Book Assembly
My best advice? Make sure you follow along with the video tutorial—with the help of Tricia's concise step-by-step guidance, you'll be super-impressed with yourself when the project is completed.
Embellish
Once you've completed the book assembly, it's time to decorate!
I chose the gorgeous Lg. Peacock Print for the covers. Accent with a favorite sentiment from the cutaparts included in the kit. Dark green metallic ribbon covers the seam where the two cover papers meet.
Inside, mat two companion sentiment cutaparts with a single Aqua panel. Center the journaling prompt over the Dk. Green Ribbon.

Decorate the flaps of the inside pages with border strips and sentiment cutaparts.

Don't forget to add photo mats and cutaparts to the pocket inserts as well.

Even the inside back cover gets the "fancy treatment" with a pair of peacock gems.

While constructing handmade books can seem challenging, Tricia's expert guidance makes it easier than ever to transform your favorite CS® Page Kit into a really impressive handmade keepsake.
Just imagine the possibilities—the ability to customize a handmade album to fit the personality of the recipient or to document a special event or occasion.
