Our Heroes kit starts shipping today! If you've been searching for the perfect way to honor the heroes in your life, this is it. We officially recognize Firefighters, Nurses, Police, and EMS workers during the month of May, and we'll honor our fallen military on Memorial Day.
While this is a page kit, keep your eye on the blog in the next few weeks to learn how to turn it into a healthy batch of cards, as well.
Members: This is a special release collection and will not ship automatically. If you'd like, you can choose "ship with my next kit" at checkout, and we'll be sure to include it in your next box.

Follow along with me in the video workshop, and let's make these pages together!
Layouts 1 & 2
I'm so glad we got our hands on those White Dazzles Stars. Line 'em up on this trio of paper strips for an eye-catching embellishment. (I love rescuing those would-have-been paper scraps!) Use the jute cord to attach the bronze "courage" charm to the journaling prompt.
Layouts 3 & 4
Loop two different colors of ribbon together like a chain, and you've got an attractive, nearly-flat accent for any page, project, or card. If you want to see this easy trick in action, check out the bookmarked chapter in the workshop video for "Layouts 7 & 8."
Layouts 5 & 6
Here we go again with the White Dazzles Stars! Run them across the horizontal border strip. For tidy results, use a grid ruler and pencil to mark even spacing prior to adding the stars with tweezers or the tip of a craft knife. Add a larger star to the center of the printed star on the journaling tag.
Layouts 7 & 8
Depending on what sort of topic you're scrapbooking, you can swap out the quotes of your choice or layer them with more photos from your stash. Remember, your photos take first priority; the cutaparts are there to help you easily complete pages without having to hunt for captions, artwork, and titles. On this caption, tear away the perimeter of the cutapart, which allows for a better fit.
Remember, all of the layout details will be thoroughly covered in the workshop video. I hope to see you there!
