If you haven't already, take a quick peek at the tutorial preview.
Below are a few highlights from the eight Gone Wild pages you'll make if you follow our "scrap-free" assembly instructions.
Gone Wild Page Kit Layouts
LAYOUTS 1 & 2
The printed cutaparts include many phrases inside frames. If you're in the mood, use detail scissors to cut around the outside edges of the frames.
Top a bronze giraffe charm with a waxed linen bow and adhere to the page with CS® Bookbinding Glue. It works great for applying metal elements to paper.
LAYOUTS 3 & 4
I love the gorgeous 12x12 Dark Brown Print in this collection. It features metallic gold ink with a subtle black ink used to add depth and dimension to the artwork. Allow the zebra on the print to remain in the foreground by making a slit with a ruler and craft knife. Slide the nested photo mat beneath the cut area.
Check out the little bronze binoculars. They include a tiny hinge, allowing them to open and close, just like the real deal!
Finally, trim the top edge of the large circular die cut and align the straight edge with the top of layout four. Save the remaining portion for layout eight.
LAYOUTS 5 & 6
Draw a little extra attention to the tiny painted coconut shell button by adding a small bow made with waxed linen thread.
LAYOUTS 7 & 8
Take advantage of the unique shapes on the printed circular die cuts included in the kit. Tuck the corners of the photo mats beneath the shapes for added interest.
Thread teal taffeta ribbon onto the bronze "bar" charm and add to the bottom of a nested photo mat.
We've had numerous member requests for a "Gone Wild" theme, and it's been more than a decade since we've created something like this for a monthly kit. Our team sincerely hopes you enjoy it! Hopefully, the urge to create is just a whim away, a whim away, a whim away!
