Take a peek at some of the special layout details. Remember, the best way to take in all of the aspects of the pages is to view the video tutorial. If you manage all the trimming and assembly on your own, simply skip ahead to the "dry fit" portion of the workshop.
Layouts 1 & 2
Nest the cutapart sentiment onto the top of a Metallic Black rectangle, and add two Silver Thinline Dazzles beneath. Next, top the hammered silver charm with waxed cord and attach to the page with CS® Bookbinding Glue. In full disclosure, the Dazzle stickers don't look like much on the sheet, but they make a super-classy addition to any project! Lastly, use a grid ruler and the metallic silver marker to add a subtle line on the right and left side of the 12" border strip shown below.
Layouts 3 & 4
Use scissors to carefully round the top of each cutapart tag designated for this layout. Next, punch a hole into the tag and thread with the 7/8" ribbon. Adhere the tag in its desired spot with foam adhesive circles. Wrap the ribbon ends around to the back of the page, and secure with tape. Repeat for the tag on the other side of the spread.
Layouts 5 & 6
Use scissors or a craft knife and cutting mat to separate the gorgeous Teal print into two sections. Align the straight edges of the papers with the left and right sides of the layout.
Layouts 7 & 8
After adding all page elements and a decorative strip of Thinline Dazzles, repeat the same process to attach the tag to the top edge of the layout. Knots made with larger ribbon can be lumpy, so this clever trick avoids the prohibitive dimension of a knot.
