Desktop Calendar
Create an adorable desktop calendar with the Brushed Stainless Steel Folding Board.
Download a free printable mini calendar and trim each month to 2-1/2 x 2-1/4".
Bind the calendar pages together with Bookbinding Glue and allow the glue to dry until clear.
Score a 3-7/8x6 " folding board panel horizontally at 3/4, 2-1/2 and 4-1/4".
Place Scor Tape on the .75" flap and secure in a triangular shape.
Nest a 3-7/8x6" folding board panel onto a black panel. Adhere the easel the panel.
Cut a 3/4x2-1/2" strip of Folding Board and add Scor Tape to half of the strip.
Starting with the end free of tape, roll the board around a pencil to create pen holder.
Nest a 4-1/8 x 3-7/8" folding board panel onto a black mat. Adhere the embellished pen holder, mini calendar and stamped quote to the panel. Add Scor Tape to the front of the triangle easel and attach the panel to the base.
Adhere a pad of Post-It notes to the base to complete the project.
Ornament
The Folding Board makes a lovely dimensional tree ornament.
Punch ten 2" folding board circles.
Score each circle in half at 1".
Glue five circles back to back with Bookbinding Glue dispensed from a needle-tipped applicator.
Glue a piece of ribbon to the inside of the ornament. Create a second set of five scored circles and glue together in the same manner. Adhere the two sets to complete the sphere.
Add glitter glue along the edges of the sphere. Roll the edges in loose silver glitter for added glitz and shimmer!
Gift Card Explosion Box
This adorable little gift card holder measures 2-1/4 x 3-3/4".
Trim a 3-3/4" folding board square and score all four sides at 3/4". Cut notches with scissors as shown below.
Add Scor Tape to the tabs and adhere to form the lid.
Cut a 2-1/4" square base and four 2-1/4 x 4-1/2" side walls. Score each side wall horizontally at 3/4".
Place Scor Tape on the brushed stainless sides of the 3/4" wall flaps and attach them to the base.
Trim a 3-1/4x5-1/4" panel from black paper and score horizontally at 1/2, 1 and 3-1/4". Cut notches as shown prior to folding.
Fold along all of the score lines. Add a strip of Scor Tape along the left side of the sleeve, being careful to avoid the bottom 3/4" scored area. Adhere to form the gift card sleeve.
Punch a 1/2 circle into the top of the sleeve. Fold out the two bottom flaps to form a "stand". Add Scor Tape to the bottom of the sleeve along the tabs and adhere to the base.
Embellish the lid with a stamped mat and a decorative brad. Tie a ribbon around the sleeve and add a stamped sentiment. The greeting from the Scandinavian Holiday Stamp set was perfect for inside of this gift card sleeve.
