I just can't get enough of Club Scrap's Page Formulas! Assemble two-page spreads with ease when you combine the handy formula of your choice with papers from your stash.

Yesterday I shared a two-page spread featuring photos from a tribute concert my daughter attended. Since I had enough photos left to complete another layout, I skimmed through my collection of past bonus formulas to find one that would work with them. All five photos had a vertical orientation, so I kept that in mind when choosing a formula. I settled on the one from September 2022.

All five remaining photos were a bit "tight", so I knew I couldn't crop them too much. I needed two more 4x6 mats for the right page, instead of the three 3.75x5" as shown in the formula. As a result, I made a small adjustment to the trimming instructions for Paper C. Follow the steps below if you'd like to do the same:

3. Trim Paper C at 8 and 4". Cut two 4x12 at 6". Trim one 4x6 at 10". Cut the 4x10 vertically at 3.5".

Finished Layout with Photos

The Flourish palette is a great match to the colors in the photos, and since all four pages will be together in the scrapbook, I wanted them to coordinate.

September 2022 Bonus Formula with Flourish

To recreate my layout, gather the following papers from the Flourish collection: Ivory Linen (A), Foliage Print (B), Light Green (C), and two Brown Plain (D).

On the left page, change the orientation of the mats to accommodate vertical photos. To resolve the "green on green" issue, I cut two 4.25x6.25 mats from Brown plain. Transfer one 2x2 square from the right page to the left. Die cut letters from Ivory Linen (Pack of Panels) to create the page title.

Due to the change in number of mats, and their size, small adjustments to the original arrangement were necessary to create a well-balanced layout. Add border strip and journaling prompt cutaparts to fill in and define the space.

Crop the fifth, and final, vertical photo to 3.75 square, and adhere to the 2x4" mat.
