Flourish Bonus Formula Sketch
Designing a beautiful two-page spread is easy: Download the February 2023 Bonus Formula and pair it with five 12x12 papers in coordinating colors. Trim the papers according to the instructions and arrange the cut pieces as shown in the sketch above.
February Bonus Page Layout
To recreate my layout, gather the following papers from the Flourish collection: Wreath Print (A), Kraft (B), Dark Green (C), and two Ivory Linen (D).
The earthy color palette is so versatile! I chose to scrap photos of my daughter's recent trip to see a Lady Gaga tribute band.
The wide strip of Kraft seemed a little plain, so I added a length of printed washi tape from a past kit.
Since I couldn't think of a way to use the three small squares, I skipped them. A sentiment stamped in Earth Hybrid ink fits the Kraft strip and is perfect for the occasion.
On the right page, crop a single vertical photo to span the space created by the two smaller mats. A Club Scrap grid ruler an essential tool to determine the finished size of the photo.
This group selfie was an odd size (it must have been shot in panoramic mode). No worries - simply crop the height of the photo to size and allow the width to extend past the edge of the mat. I think it still looks great!
