Here's a quick visual tour of what you'll find in the collection.
Let's take a closer look at the eight pages you'll make when you follow the printable instructions included with purchase. In addition, I'll guide you through the assembly process. A link to my video workshop is provided in the instructions document.
Page Kit instructions
Layouts 1 & 2
The giant "dream" woodcut provides an eye-catching opener on Layout One! Leave it in the original wood tone, or grab a foam brush and acrylic paint, and alter to your color of choice. We chose white paint for ours.
Layouts 3 & 4
Turn two simple Cutaparts into eye-catching tags . . . trim the top corners of the Cutapart and Aqua mat, punch a hole into the top of the tags, thread with the red silk ribbon, adhere to the layout with foam adhesive circles, and wrap the ribbon ends round to the back.
For the page title, add a red crown applique to the top of each matted word, and attach the "life" word with foam adhesive for interest.
Layouts 5 & 6
Add a colorful vibe to the page title by adding a linked loop of aqua and red ribbon to the Cutapart. Check out our ribbon basics video to learn more about this fun and easy technique!
Layouts 7 & 8
The left page "rescues" two .25" wide paper scraps and turns them into anchors for the "celebrate" and "enjoy!" Cutaparts. Such a simple and effective way to add a pop of color to the layout with two lowly snippets!
The collection is designed to bring a touch of joy to your projects. However, if the Colorful Life collection isn't in your wheelhouse, no problem. This special release won't be delivered unless requested. Also note that quantities of this collection are very limited.
