It's Ron's birthday today! (CS Staffer Ron Perry lives in Rhode Island, helps design digital layouts for our monthly digital kits, and designs the graphics for our weekly promotions.) What better way to celebrate Ron's birthday than with a special scrapbook page!

I used scraps from my Celebrate Blog Hop project to create the layout. The photos were taken of the two of us at Annual Retreats over the years. These are just a few of my favorites. Add 1/2" strips in a rainbow pattern onto the 12x12" Celebrate Sparkle background paper. Anchor the colorful paper borders with 1 1/4 and 1" Black print strips. Die cut "forever" and "friend" from the Friendship Words script set by Sizzix.

Version 2

Stamp the Woven Strands square knots onto mixed media paper and create the stained glass effect with Color Burst pigment powders. (Click the HERE for more on this technique.) Cut the panels out and add to the bottom of the layout.

Version 4

Stamp the Celebrate small medallion onto white paper in Silver metallic ink. Add Paris Flea Market Greeting UM circular quote using Ocean ink. Trim with a 1" circle punch. Attach the circle to a flattened bottle cap and top with an epoxy sticker. Create a title using Celebrate digital kit artwork. Print onto white paper and attach to the layout.

Version 3

This layout has been entered into the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge. Click the image for details on how to play along!

Ron, we hope you have an amazing birthday! Thanks for all you do for Club Scrap! (And thanks for being my friend.)
